Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of The Contractor Quote Audit Kit (the "Product"), a digital download offered by QuoteAuditKit ("we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing or accessing the Product, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms.
1. The Product
The Contractor Quote Audit Kit is a one-time digital download consisting of PDF guides, an Excel spreadsheet calculator, checklists, and email scripts intended to help homeowners evaluate residential construction and remodeling contractor quotes before signing a contract. The Product is delivered as a downloadable ZIP archive accessed via a secure link sent after successful payment.
2. License and Use
Upon successful purchase, QuoteAuditKit grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Product for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the Product with third parties
- Republish or reproduce the Product, in whole or in part, on any public-facing platform
- Modify the Product's content for resale or commercial distribution
- Remove or alter copyright or attribution notices contained in the Product
Personal printing, annotation, and use within your household are permitted and encouraged.
3. Pricing and Payment
The Product is priced in U.S. dollars at the price displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc., and your card statement will reflect a charge from QUOTEAUDITKIT or BFRYOUSIGN. We do not store credit card details.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the Product does not help you spot at least one issue in your contractor's quote, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund your purchase price in full. To request a refund, reply to your receipt email or write to hello@quoteauditkit.com with your order details.
Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days.
5. Educational Content — Not Legal or Financial Advice
The Product is educational content. It is not legal, financial, contracting, or professional advice. Construction laws, contractor licensing rules, lien procedures, and consumer-protection regulations vary by U.S. state and jurisdiction. Nothing in the Product creates an attorney-client, fiduciary, or contractor-client relationship between you and QuoteAuditKit or its authors.
For legal questions specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state. For contracting questions, consult a licensed contractor or your state's contractor licensing board.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall QuoteAuditKit, its owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of business opportunity, or damages arising from your decisions made after reviewing the Product. Our total cumulative liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.
7. Intellectual Property
All content within the Product — including text, graphics, calculators, frameworks, methodologies, checklists, and scripts — is the intellectual property of QuoteAuditKit and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
8. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Product after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Product shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
